My experience with self-publishing
When I knew I wanted to write a book, my singular goal was to tell a story. I struggled with current events, rehearsed familiar spiritual truths, and tried to cope with what I saw on news programs. I had passion and a story I thought people would love as much as I did.
50 years was long enough
When I was 16, I got my first job. I bagged groceries every Thursday and Friday after school and all day on Saturdays. I didn’t mind. I worked with several guys from high school and my new income paid for the 1966 Mustang I loved to drive and be seen in. Great car.
A shop tour
I like to watch the shop tours YouTube makers post occasionally. Well, I like them until they pan over to the $30,000 CNC machine or the shelf with Festool tools worth $10,000. It’s not envy, it’s just I don’t need those things.
When I am afraid
It’s interesting to read a scripture passage and see something I’ve never seen, though I’ve read it a dozen times before. Often admonitions to “fear not” are followed with “for I am with you.” In other places, “fear not” is accompanied by a statement about something God has done
